We are currently hiring for the position of driver/mover and helper.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Safely operate cargo vans and cube trucks while obeying all traffic laws
- Ensure safe and legal parking
- Pack and wrap furniture and household items carefully and properly for transport
- Load and unload items into moving trucks
- Basic furniture disassembly and reassembly
- Commitment to provide a high level of customer service
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Available to work flexible shifts Monday to Saturday, and occasionally Sundays
- 30-40 hours per week
EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience driving an 16-26′ truck
- Full G license with clean driving record
- Clean-cut appearance
- Experience working with hand tools
- Previous moving experience an asset
- Physically fit – must be able to lift 75 lbs for extended periods of time
- Energetic and positive attitude; critical thinking skills
- A must: Friendly and professional customer service skills
- Interested in growing within our company
- No criminal record or convictions
- Smart phone with internet an asset
